At 8 Senses Therapy, we have a family-centred approach. Therefore, we require at least 1 carer to be present with their child in all our sessions (unless advised otherwise/agreed).

No cancellation fees will be charged if the appointment can be rescheduled within 7 days. If you reschedule but do not attend that rescheduled appointment, the full fee will be applied (i.e. no rolling reschedules).

A therapist is allocated to all sessions. Therefore, all short-notice cancellations will be charged the full session fee.

If your appointment falls on a public holiday, we will call you at least a week prior to reschedule your appointment.

Medicare covers Occupational Therapy with a GP’s referral under Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) or Paediatrian’s referral under Helping Children with Autism program. Participants will pay the full session fee and rebate is done on the spot, which will be credited into their accounts.

To claim from your Private Health Fund you will need to contact your own health fund regarding the amount that you are entitled to.  If you attend an appointment at our clinic we can process your private health through our HICAPS terminal. This needs to take place on the day of service.
